I am a liberatory coach and the founder of HERnandez Coaching and Consulting, where I support individuals and organizations committed to social justice, liberation, and healing. Born in Mexico City, I lived there until I was twelve, when my family migrated to California. Growing up as an undocumented woman, I faced numerous challenges that profoundly shaped my dedication to immigrant justice. Navigating a new country without legal status—while striving to survive and thrive—ignited my passion for creating a world where immigrant communities are treated with dignity and respect.

Today, I serve as the Executive Director of ÓRALE, an immigrant-led organization dedicated to dismantling the criminalization of immigrants and securing protections that allow our communities to flourish. My work at ÓRALE is grounded in the belief that solutions to immigrant injustice must come from within the community itself, shaped by the lived experiences of those most impacted. I lead with an intersectional approach, grounded in healing, love, and justice, and rooted in the conviction that liberation is possible for all.

My journey as an immigrant organizer has deepened my understanding of the power of collective action and the importance of solidarity. I hold a Master of Arts in Applied Anthropology and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology with a minor in International Studies from California State University, Long Beach.

In addition to my work as an advocate and leader, I am also a graduate from the Coaching for Healing, Justice, and Liberation program, a nine-month certification training designed for social justice movement leaders. This program equips me with liberatory coaching skills from an anti-oppression lens, incorporating an awareness of spirit and ancestors, which deeply aligns with my leadership approach and commitment to healing.

Through HERnandez Coaching and Consulting, I offer coaching and consulting services to individuals and organizations committed to social justice, helping them navigate the complexities of this work with clarity, resilience, and purpose. My goal is to support leaders in approaching their work with authenticity, aligning their actions with their values, and cultivating spaces for healing and transformation that drive lasting change.
